Summary:

The BI reporting developer will be responsible for the translation of business questions and requirements into reports, views, and BI query objects. Candidates must have deep knowledge of BI reporting tools, functions, and features. Additionally, the incumbent must have a diverse reporting background writing standard reports and custom ad-hoc reports. This position is located at Channelinsight's corporate headquarters in Denver Colorado and requires minimal travel to prospect and customer sites.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • The BI Reporting analyst will work with end users to ensure tight fit between BI environment and business requirements
  • Designs, creates and manages reports and report definitions
  • Creates and delivers end-user training and documentation and provides support to other users who develop reports on behalf of their departmental colleagues.
  • Provides repository of best practices on how to use Business Objects XI WebI for more productivity
  • Work hand in hand with Business Owners and other Systems Developers in support of Business Intelligence solutions as part of the enterprise systems architecture
  • Develop Enterprise Reports for all parts of the business and customers
  • Develop and maintain documents for requirements, design, implementation, and maintenance of the information systems tools and technology
  • Work with the Enterprise Business Intelligence Team in support of development or enhancement of information systems solutions as needed
  • Perform support and maintenance on information Systems tools and technology in support of Enterprise Business Intelligence
  • Research, develop and/or enhance tools to monitor and maintain the health and reliability of the Enterprise Business Intelligence solutions

Minimum Qualifications / Requirements and Core Competencies:

  • Bachelors degree required, masters’ degree preferred, in information technology, business or related field
  • Effective communications skills to work with the business and customers. Strong data analysis skills
    so that they can anticipate the business reporting needs
  • 4+ years of experience creating reports and report templates . Specific experience with Business Objects XI WebI
  • 3-5 years programming experience in writing complex SQL queries
  • Strong problem-solving and metadata skills
  • Understanding of functional specification approaches that lead to successful technical design and test case development
  • Ability to work with an expedited delivery schedule and changing priorities.  Ability to translate loosely defined business problems into sets of objectives, with concise and logical requirements.
  • Results-oriented ability to respond to a rapidly changing business environment and the ability to maintain focus on business value
  • Ability to interface well with cross-functional teammates.
  • Experience with Business Intelligence reporting solutions preferably using Business Objects, MicroStrategy and other reporting solutions
  • Ability to write effective SQL and/or MDX queries
  • A clear grasp of the big picture in business, ability to see across the departments and follow the interaction between departments as business processes are executed.

Summary:

The new Customer Experience Manager (CEM) manages the overall delivery of all services designated as part of the customers' contractual agreements. Their first and primary goal is to ensure the operational health of all related systems and processes for their assigned customers, with the end result of opening further strategic relationships with their respective. In addition the CEM role ensures that all operational processes are operating as optimally as possible. A key function of this role is to provide support delivery management for all customer support related issues as well as ensuring the timely and high quality delivery of all the respective proactive services requested and agreed upon as part of that engagement. This position is located at Channelinsight's corporate headquarters in Denver Colorado, with 5-10 individuals as direct reports, and requires 25-50% travel to prospect and customer sites.

  • Broad understanding of how businesses function and their priorities, and more importantly the ability to translate technical and operational issues and opportunities in to business terms and value propositions that ensures the collective executive level support for driving long term technical and operational improvements
  • Capabilities and attributes with the ability to manage a staff of technical support tier 1 and tier 2 personnel while managing incidents and escalations. They play an important part in the fulfillment of our customers' expectations and requirement and will be called upon to demonstrate and develop broader skills and capabilities as deemed necessary by Channelinsight's leadership
  • Work closely with client implementation managers to ensure successful and on-time delivery of customer projects

Minimum Qualifications / Requirements and Core Competencies:

  • Bachelors degree required, masters' degree preferred, in information technology, business or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in the semi-conductor and component market, with an emphasis on the indirect channel.
  • Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in related field, with 5+ in management capacity. Experience in SaaS, enterprise product company, or channel industry a plus. Experience in a start-up, fast-paced, data-driven, and customer-focused environment also a plus.
  • Competency in Analytical Problem Solving, Building Customer/Partner Relationships, Confidence, Cross-Boundary Collaboration, Impact and Influence, Interpersonal Awareness, Project Management, Strategic Insight, Product & Technology Expertise, Value Selling.
  • Successful background in customer management.

Role: DataConnect Implementation Specialist: Click to apply

Summary:

The DataConnect Implementation Specialist is responsible for implementing and supporting DataConnect with clients. DataConnect is an Extract Transform Load (ETL) software tool, which is most often used to extract data from various accounting systems. The DataConnect Implementation Specialist must have an understanding of relational databases, including extensive knowledge of the SQL language, in order to perform database queries. The application runs as a service so server setup knowledge is required.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Implement, manage and support the DataConnect product with current clients.
